ALL INTERESTED PERSONS ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that Mead & Hunt, Inc., consulting
engineers and Oconto County, will host a Public Involvement Meeting on May 19, 2025, from
5:00pm – 6:00pm, at the City of Oconto Falls Municipal Building, 500 N Chestnut Ave, Oconto
Falls, WI.
The proposed project consists of replacing the expansion joints and performing a concrete
overlay on the deck of the existing 3-span bridge (B-42-034). The beam guard will be replaced
along CTH CC and Scott Drive. The structure is located on CTH CC / North Maple Ave over
Oconto River in Sections 25 and 26, T28N, R19E in the City of Oconto Falls. The total length of
the project will not exceed 800 feet on CTH CC of exceed 100 feet on Scott Drive. Construction
is currently scheduled for summer 2026. The roadway is to remain open to single-lane traffic
during construction with temporary signals for traffic control.
The purpose of this meeting is to solicit public input on the preliminary design for this project.
Persons with a concern for or knowledge about the structure and surrounding area are
encouraged to attend this meeting or provide comments to Oconto County or Mead & Hunt.
